Who to invite to your virtual gala.

How and who of virtual galas

Next week, I'm doing a very special webinar with our friends at Pursuant about the "how" and the "who" of virtual galas.

Over the last four months, we've published many blogs and videos about "how" to conduct a virtual gala.

Recently, I've been talking with Pursuant, because they are data analytics experts that help nonprofits identify "Who" to pursue for support.

It's a cliche to say that you want to have the right people in the room, and if you're a development director you probably roll your eyes every time somebody trots out that tired old phrase, and acts as if they've just said something brilliant.

Of course, you want to have the right people in the room. That easy to say and hard to do.

But Pursuant looks at that challenge and says, "in this age of technology, with all the information that's available, why should it be hard to get the right people in the room?"

Why shouldn't it be easy to identify the exact people who have an affinity for your mission, have the resources to provide significant support and know the best channel through which to reach them?

For years, Pursuant has been providing this type of service for the largest nonprofits in the United States.

Now they've launched GivingDNA Platform that is bringing this analytics capability down to medium and small nonprofits.

I'm excited to be part of the conversation in next week's webinar.

Pursuant's nonprofit partners will learn from our Virtual Gala experience, and our nonprofit partners will learn from Pursuant's experience in identifying donors.

We hope you'll join us for this informative session. It's scheduled for Tuesday, July 28 at 11 am MST (Noon Central).
