Patience Equity - The Secret Reservoir of Fundraising Success


Every one of your guests walks into your event with a certain amount of “patience equity” and you either nurture it and raise a lot of money or you squander it and raise very little money.

The Patience equity of your guests is impacted by their work day, the traffic on the way to your event, the valet lines, the check-in lines, the bar lines, the talking heads on the stage, etc.

We chatted about patience equity with Greg Leonard, the General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Colorado Convention Center, and got his take on how his hotel staff focuses on preserving the patience equity of their guests.
